Families we value your presence and it our joy to welcome and get to know you! We will be making exciting changes over this next year to expand discipleship opportunities and meet more age specific needs. We also have plans to expand community and resources for parents. We will keep you updated as new opportunities unfold! We offer the following for children on Sunday mornings:
NURSERY - TODDLERS
A nursery is available downstairs from the sanctuary with a live stream of the worship gathering. You can use the stairs or elevator near the Welcome Center to get there. A changing station is located in the restroom near the nursery. Currently the nursery is not staffed, but that will be changing soon so stay tuned! We are also developing a quiet room just for nursing mothers which we are excited to finish and make available this summer.
PRESCHOOL - 5TH GRADE
When you arrive, you'll sign your kids in at the Welcome Table.
Families are together for the first part of our service. Before the sermon our children’s time will be announced and your children will be invited to walk back to the Welcome Center where they will be greeted by our dedicated children's ministry staff, and walked to the Education Building’s second floor “Green Room”.
They will engage in the Biblical story and activities that draw them closer to the heart of God. Our staff will bring your children back to the “Children Drop-off/Pick-up” area in the Welcome Center where you'll pick them up after the worship gathering.
*Please note pick-up procedures will be changing beginning Sunday, March 2nd, so parents can have coffee and fellowship time, or the option to receive ministry in the prayer chapel before being re-united with their children. Details will be communicated before the change.
ACTIVE PLAYGROUND & OUTDOOR AREAS
An aspect of being an inter-generational community is being mindful of the safety of our elderly. We ask that your children not run, chase, or rough play in the Sanctuary and surrounding indoor areas, as well as the patio near the front doors where people enter and exit. We welcome and enjoy the energy of children! So we open the playground after service to the left of the Education Building. Children younger than 6th grade must be accompanied by an adult or responsible older sibling because it is not staffed. There is also patio space away from the Sanctuary doors, and a grassy yard in front of the Fireside Room.
